Clarification please

[edit]

"Zzyzx" road is the only word that can be contorted to rhyme with physics. Thus, it is a popular tourist location for physicists. I love it, but is it true? - Ta bu shi da yu 08:15, 2 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Clarification please followup

[edit]

Curtis Howe Springer pronounced Zzyzx, "ZYE-zix". Since he is credited with naming the location, I would go by his pronunciation. [tb90278] 04:12, 08 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Alphabetically last in the world??

[edit]

Since the world contains many countries, with many languages, this statement is just silly. Maybe "last in America", "last in English", "last using the English alphabetical order" would be better. Ignoring all the languages which don't use the same script, at least the Scandinavian languages have letters which come after "z". Thus the towns of "Å" in Norway and Sweden are lexicographically larger than any town beginning with "Z" when the alphabetical order for those languages are used. — Hippietrail 02:22, 10 Feb 2005 (UTC)

All righty, then, we'll add "in English alphabetical order"
